In homage to the historic role of engineering, the IEEE, and especially the northeast region of the United States in the evolution and process of innovation,   it is the mission of this workshop to seek out and gather individuals with a proven record of innovation, the potential for innovation, and the desire to participate in the innovative process to a location that supports the process, with the intention of re-invigorating the innovative leadership role of the region.
